Beet, Early Wonder

Early Wonder Beets are great all around vegetables since both the roots and the leafy greens can be eaten. The roots are flavorful and ideal for pickling, freezing, baking, or boiling.

Plant in spring up to 30 days before last frost. Plant seeds about 1/2 inch deep and one inch apart. Allow 12 to 18 inches between rows. About 60 day maturity is needed for beets to reach 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and then they can be harvested.
