Beet, Ruby Queen

Beet Ruby Queen. This plant produces abundant yields of sweet dark red beets. These beets are ideal for baking, freezing, boiling or even pickling.

Plant in spring up to 30 days before last frost. Plant seeds about 1/2 inch deep and one inch apart. Allow 12 to 18 inches between rows. About 60 day maturity is needed for beets to reach 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and then they can be harvested.
