This is an excellent multi-purpose carrot. It can often be found at your local grocery store. The Imperator carrot is a classic heirloom variety that has been passed on for many years. You'll love this flavorful carrot. Plant the seeds in loose soil.

Plant carrot seeds 2 to 3 weeks before last frost. Seeds will be planted ½ inch deep, ½ inch apart, in rows 12 to 24 inches apart. Carrot seedlings will germinate in 1-3 weeks. Harvest in 65 days.
