Treat your family to a delectable fresh garden pea this season with Lincoln Peas, a very high-yielding variety that offers pairs of 4½- to 5-inch pods up and down its compact stems. These peas are effortless to shell and boast 6 to 9 well-stuffed peas in every pod. It's a family favorite that is perfect for freezing, but is also delicious when eaten fresh or canned.

The seeds should be planted about 1" deep, in rows with about 6 seeds per foot and rows spaced 48" apart. They take about 70 days to mature and should receive either partial or full sun and moderate water.
