Squash, Winter, Sweet Meat

The Sweet Meat Winter Squash is sweet, dense, and a favorite for soups, pies, canning or freezing. This squash only gets sweeter as you store it for up to 3-6 months without having to can or freeze. Known as an abundant producers you can look forward to squashes that average 10 lbs. in size with some reaching 20 lbs.

Squash can be sowed indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost or planted outdoors after last frost when soil temperature is at or above 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Plant 6 seeds in a single mound 1" deep and space mounds 5' apart. Maturity in approximately 90-100 days.
